The Dentist provides comprehensive oral healthcare, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures for patients of all ages. They are also responsible for patient education, clinical documentation, and mentoring dental staff and students.
The Dentist is responsible for delivering comprehensive dental care, including the diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, operative dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. This individual ensures high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with clinical standards and regulatory requirements. Performs comprehensive oral evaluations utilizing diagnostic tools such as radiographs, periodontal charting, and dental impressions to assess patients’ oral health.

Accurately documents and charts extraoral and intraoral findings, including hard and soft tissue conditions, in accordance with clinical protocols.

Delivers comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, including those who are medically complex or pregnant, while adhering to evidence-based clinical standards.

Develops, discusses, and confirms individualized treatment plans with patients to ensure informed decision-making and optimal outcomes.

Conducts oral surgical procedures such as tooth extractions and root canals, and performs operative dentistry including caries removal, tooth preparation, and material placement.

Restores decayed or damaged teeth through the placement of restorations, crowns, and fixed partial dentures in alignment with approved treatment plans.

1. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. 2. Preferred previous experience in a clinical dental setting.
Certifications / Licenses
Candidates must hold a DDS or DMD degree and a valid, unrestricted license to practice dentistry and a DEA license in the State of Wisconsin. BLS certification and a valid Wisconsin Driver's License are also required.
