The Occupational Therapist performs individualized evaluations and designs customized interventions to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities. They are responsible for documenting progress, providing educational programs, and supervising COTAs and HCAs.

They perform an individualized evaluation, design goal-directed customized interventions to improve the person's ability to perform daily activities, and periodically review the patient's performance to ensure that the goals are being met and/or make changes to the intervention plan.
