• Learn more at www.aspengrovehospital.com This Nurse Apprentice opportunity is part-time (24) hours per week, offers partial benefits and a (2) 12-hour shift schedule (6pm - 6:30am or 630am - 630pm).
• We are looking for a dynamic Nurse Apprentice to provide safe, competent nursing assistant care for our patients.
• You will also provide professional support to the healthcare team.
• The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Job Duties/Responsibilities: Completes bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensures patient is provided with the names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.
• Follows facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety (i.e. safe environment, equipment safety practices, radiation safety, fire prevention, etc.).
• Adheres to fall precautions by performing/assisting patients with toileting/ADL care and never leaving the patient alone.
• If assistance is needed, the Nurse Apprentice is able to ask/call or help while remaining with the patient.

Qualifications

• Available to current nursing students only within 3 months of being license eligible, prefer CNA candidates Interim role until graduation, passing of NCLEX and license eligible Base rate of pay is equivalent to LPN $25.00 per hour MUST be at least 21 years of age or older, able to pass a background check and drug screen EEO Statement - We believe that diversity and inclusion among our teammates is critical to our success.
