Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions 1. Under the direct supervision of licensed nurses performs duties as assigned. 2. Courteously answers patient calls giving the patient reassurance and immediately notifying nursing personnel of patient’s needs 3. Initiates, assembles and maintains charts from admission to discharge. Following discharge, prepares the chart for transport to health information management. 4. Knowledgeable of and performs computer applications as appropriate to clerical responsibilities 5. Maintain appropriate inventories of forms and supplies 6. Maintain a clean and orderly work area 7. Perform first scrub role in Delivery OR 8. Stock department and OR after procedures
