About the role

Perform and coordinate in-office device interrogations and programming for various manufacturers while managing remote monitoring. Educate patients and families on device functionality and collaborate with physicians and representatives to improve patient outcomes.

General duties

The natures of the duties are to work closely with the Rhythm Management department to accomplish set goals and objectives. These include, but not limited to: performing device interrogations and programming checks from different manufacturers in multiple clinics, formulate relationships with Physicians, device company representatives, and family members to promote and educate on Remote Monitoring.

Qualifications

  • 1.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
  • 2.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state the clinic is located.
  • 3.
  • Basic Life Support Certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certifications are both required.
  • 4.
  • Extensive experience with programming and device checks 5.
  • Ability to assist with device programming and interrogation 6.
  • Understanding of CPT codes associated with Device and Rhythm Management 7.
  • Able to utilize Paceart and cloud based device sites

Specific duties

1. Performs and coordinates all in office device interrogations and programming of various manufactured devices.

2. Possess an extensive understanding of the utilization of each device programmer for the purposes of interrogation or programming in the office setting.

3. Educates patients and families regarding device functionality, remote device monitoring, and/or clinic follow up scheduling via Paceart.

4. Formulates professional relationships with device company representatives and communicates effectively for improved patient outcomes.

5. Ensures proper documentation and billing of services performed.

6. Actively participates in completion of the goals and objectives of the Device and Rhythm management department.

7. Collaborates effectively with providers to ensure patient compliance with follow up care and remote monitoring.

Pay starting at $38.31.

Requirements

Requires a nursing degree, current RN licensure, and BLS and ACLS certifications. Candidates must have extensive experience with device programming, interrogation, and the use of Paceart and cloud-based sites.
