What You’ll Do For Our Patients
Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups
The Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and/or Medical Assistants with the examination and treatment of Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care patients.
This role is responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for our Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care patients.
This role is responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers.
Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers.
In a collaborative manner, the Radiologic Technologist will provide support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
Knowledge of X-ray procedures and protocols. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform X-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement. Knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards common to radiology.
Positioning patients properly for the X-ray procedure required. Identifying equipment problems and correcting or notifying supervisor. Following infection control and radiological safety procedures.
