Caregiver - part & full time , Pasadena *** IMMEDIATE HIRE ***

At Always Best Care, our caregivers, also known as Home care aides, assist individuals who may be elderly, disabled, or recovering from illness, helping them perform daily tasks they cannot manage independently. The role is crucial for enhancing the quality of life of clients and providing both physical and emotional support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Personal Care

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Medication
• Reminders: Assist in reminding the client when and to take their medications
• Mobility
• Assistance: Help clients move safely, including transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking, or exercising
• Household
• Management: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe living environment
• Companionship: Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and participate in recreational activities to reduce loneliness
• Health
• Monitoring: Observe and report changes in physical or mental health to family members or healthcare professionals
• Transport
• Assistance: Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, or other errands
• Emergency
• Response: Provide first aid or CPR and contact emergency services if necessary
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client’s condition

Caregivers may work in clients’ homes, assisted living facilities, or healthcare settings. Shifts can vary, including full-time, part-time, or flexible schedules, and may require travel between multiple locations.

The caregiver role is hands-on and requires dedication, compassion, and professionalism. It combines practical assistance with emotional support, aiming to improve clients’ independence, safety, and overall quality of life.

• Job Requirements
• 18+ years old
• Must live with in 10 miles of Arcadia
• Authorized to Work in the US
• Two forms of ID compliant with I-9 requirements (ex. driver’s license, passport, social security card, etc.)
• Ability to pass a background check and reference check
• Proof of negative tuberculosis test/chest x-ray
