Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations.
Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
Responsible for the preoperative/preprocedural preparation of patients including baseline assessment, skin preparation as required, and completion of the surgical checklist.
Responsible for Phase II recovery of surgical patients including monitoring of physiological status, surgical wound care and discharge teaching.
When On-Call, must report within 30 minutes.

Requires a California RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with at least three years of acute care experience. A Bachelor's in Nursing and experience in perioperative or endoscopy settings are preferred.
