About the role

Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and deliver respiratory care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics. Provide high-level patient care across emergency, in-patient, and out-patient hospital areas.

We are currently hiring for a part time Cardiopulmonary Therapist within the Cardiopulmonary department here at Aspen Valley Health.

Work Shift

Nights - 12 Hour

Compensation Range

$35.69 - $57.10 Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour!

The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • & Requirements
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP)
  • At least 2 years of well-rounded RT experience with a diverse patient population.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with high risk deliveries and neonates preferred.
  • NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Experience with EPIC preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Overview

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) works with patients that range from newborn to geriatric to perform all cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and deliver all modalities of respiratory care from basic to advanced. Provides the highest level of appropriate patient care for patients in all areas of the hospital to include emergency patients, in-patients and out-patients.
