Provide compassionate care for hospitalized and boarding pets, including feeding, walking, and monitoring. Maintain a clean and safe hospital environment by disinfecting facilities and restocking supplies.

VCA Kaneohe Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and hardworking Patient Care Attendant to join our team.

As a Patient Care Attendant, you'll play an important role in supporting our doctors, technicians, and client service team while ensuring our hospitalized and boarding patients receive exceptional care.

This position is ideal for someone looking to begin or grow a career in veterinary medicine.

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing compassionate care for hospitalized and boarding patients.

Feeding, walking, and monitoring dogs and cats.

Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, cages, treatment areas, and hospital facilities.

Bathing patients as directed.

Performing laundry and maintaining clean linens throughout the hospital.

Restocking supplies and assisting with hospital organization.

Assisting veterinary technicians and doctors with patient handling and restraint as needed.

Helping prepare and maintain treatment and exam areas.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for patients, clients, and team members.

Performing other duties as assigned to support daily hospital operations.

The ideal candidate is reliable, positive, eager to learn, and enjoys working collaboratively in a team environment.

Previous experience working with animals is not required—this is an entry level position, and we are happy to train individuals who are enthusiastic about veterinary medicine and committed to providing outstanding patient care.
