About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering and supervising patient care using the nursing process. This includes coordinating interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and providing education to patients and their families.

Overview We are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and care for our diverse patient population.

The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

At PAM Health, we care for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care.

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs in an age appropriate manner for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health System. The Occupational Therapist will additionally be involved in the further development of the services. The Occupational Therapist must be flexible to meet the needs of the System within many different facilities.

Qualifications

Education and Training: Licensed as OT in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.

Experience

One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. Requirements

Candidates must hold a current RN licensure and BLS certification, with ACLS certification required within 90 days. One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
