Provide emergency medical care to a low-volume patient population at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. Manage stabilization and transport for trauma patients and coordinate with specialists via tele-robot and tele-psych services.

Daily ER volume is about 10 patients per day. 12 - 63 hour shifts with flexible scheduling On-Call services include Surg, Ortho, Uro, Med/OB(local), CRNA(local) Excellent support staff 24/7 Hospitalist services EMR is Epic Whitman Hospital and Medical Center (WHMC) is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving rural communities as a Public Hospital District. WHMC is a Level V Trauma Designation that focuses on stabilization and transporting to higher levels of care facilities for trauma. The hospital participates closely with Sacred Heart in Spokane via the Tele Robot for Code Stroke patients. There is also tele-psych through Providence.

Physician Requirements: BC Family or Emergency Medicine EM experience required. Active Washington Physician license Current ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications (FM)
