Job Summary- We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team in Carmel, Indiana. This weekend MRI Tech will perform diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring high-quality images and patient care. This role involves working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results.
Job Duties Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
Operate MRI equipment and perform scans according to established protocols.
Ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process and monitor for any adverse reactions.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in diagnosis.
Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
Document patient information and scan results accurately in medical records.
Stay current with advancements in MRI technology through continuing education and training.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Current ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent. Valid Indiana X-ray state license. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Work Schedule: Part-time weekend shift starting on Thursday. Flexibility in hours to meet client needs is essential.
Starting pay is between $35.00 and $40.00 per hour, with flexibility for negotiation based on experience.
Requires current ARRT certification in MRI and a valid Indiana X-ray state license. Experience in a clinical setting and strong technical skills are preferred.
