About the role

Manage preoperative and postoperative orthopedic patients under the direction of Orthopedic Spine Surgeons. Coordinate and support patient care throughout the surgical process within a team-oriented practice.

  • Healthcare United is seeking an APRN for an established and growing orthopedic practice in Gainesville, Florida. This opportunity offers a strong team environment, consistent surgical volume, and the chance to work closely with experienced Orthopedic Spine Surgeons in a physician-owned setting. The APRN will play an important role in the management of preoperative and postoperative orthopedic patients, helping to support continuity of care throughout the surgical process. This position is ideal for a motivated Nurse Practitioner seeking a balanced opportunity with a strong clinical infrastructure, excellent support staff, and a collaborative practice culture.
  • Manage preoperative and postoperative orthopedic patients under the direction of Orthopedic Spine Surgeons
  • Assist in coordinating and supporting patient care throughout the surgical process
  • Work closely with surgeons and clinical staff in a team-oriented practice setting
  • Participate in a practice with surgery scheduled approximately 3 to 4 days per week
  • Join a rapidly expanding physician-owned orthopedic group with strong long term potential

Requirements

  • Certified FNP
  • Experience or strong interest in Orthopedic Trauma and Spine preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced surgical and clinical environment
  • Strong clinical judgment and proactive patient management skills
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Motivated, dependable, and patient focused approach to care
