We are hiring a Registered Nurse for our growing team!

As a Registered Nurse with ARC, we offer you the opportunity to work in a dynamic, team-oriented, environment helping individuals overcome substance abuse addiction.

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the System of Care.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of persons served/clients as they go through the rehabilitation process.

This rewarding profession offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities: Conducts Nursing Assessments and monitoring of clients Member of the Treatment Team.

Handles the medication management; trains staff on medication dispensing.

Ensures Universal Precautions of the center.

Facilitates Health Education groups including General Health Education, Medication/Drug Interactions.

Observe and assess clients for clinical signs and symptoms and follow the prescribed course of treatment.

Determines and implements specific protocol as designated by the Doctor.

The Nurse is expected to protect the privacy of all client information in accordance with Addiction Recovery Care, LLC/ Odyssey, Inc.’s privacy policies, procedures, and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with the general principle of professionalism as a health care provider.

Maintain a respectful relationship with clients.

Maintain confidentiality at all times displaying a professional disposition towards fellow staff.

Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and consumers alike.

Bring policy/personnel issues to supervision as they arise.

Ability to interact with a multidisciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health.

Have the ability to communicate with the Case Manager and assist in ensuring the safety of the client.

Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and assumption of responsibilities not delineated in the job description which is related to work as a member of an addiction treatment team.

Must have the ability to interact with staff and clients in a professional manner.

Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail Attention to detail and organization a must.

Computer literate with experience in a Windows environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to prioritize work and work-related responsibilities The above is intended to be a general outline of job duties and not a complete list.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse license in the State of Kentucky. Two or more years of nursing experience and a background in substance abuse treatment are preferred.
