Provide critical care to patients within the Emergency Department and Urgent Care centers. Rotate between three Ascension Via Christi Hospital locations to support a high-volume Level I Trauma Center and tertiary care facility.

The Opportunity Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners 2+ years of ED experience required. Current national certification and DEA required. Current KS state license, PALS and ACLS are a plus. Providers will rotate between Ascension Via Christi Hospital – St. Joseph, Ascension Via Christi Hospital – St. Teresa, and Ascension Via Christi Hospital – St. Francis. The Practice Ascension Via Christi Hospital St. Joseph – Wichita, Kansas Ascension Via Christi Hospital St. Teresa – Wichita, Kansas Ascension Via Christi Hospital St. Francis – Wichita, Kansas 801-bed facility with a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, burn unit, and tertiary care center. 30-bed main ED with an annual volume of 55,000+ and all backup specialties. Vituity scribe assistance for physicians. Accredited Chest pain and STEMI Center and Bariatric Center of Excellence. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired. Requirements

Requires a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certification with at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience. Must possess a current DEA license and Kansas state license, with PALS and ACLS certifications preferred.
