The Licensed Practical Nurse/Medical Assistant will assist the office care team with data collection, assessments, and care planning to provide age-appropriate and diagnosis-focused care. This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status.

You will use your active listening and strong communication skills to consult with the patient/family and appropriate healthcare professionals to facilitate meeting the patients’ needs in order to provide optimal care and a superior patient experience.

You will also assist with providing education and guidance to patients and their significant others based on individual needs and level of understanding.

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Office/ Medical Assistant Shift: Full-time Monday-Friday 730-4 or 8-430 Experience: 1.

At least one year of clinical office experience, preferably in the specified discipline of the practice, is preferred.

Must have ability to communicate proficiently in English (both verbally and writing) to perform job duties.

Education

  • Must have graduated from an accredited school of practical nursing or an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Licensures/Certifications: 1. A current Pennsylvania LPN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact is required OR MA diploma/certification 2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required. You can make a difference for our patients by joining our LPN/MA Team. Apply today!

Requirements

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of practical nursing or an accredited Medical Assistant program. A current Pennsylvania LPN license or MA diploma/certification is required, along with at least one year of clinical office experience preferred.
