The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care delivery in the surgical area. The professional nurse assumes responsibility for that charge and is accountable for providing a safe environment for the delivery of care to all surgical patients.

Type/Shift: PT Days - Two (2) 10 HR shifts p/wk
Practice is guided by nursing process & policy / procedure / standards.
Maintains focused area of expertise for care / program &/or provides interventions or knowledge within niche areas of care / program.
Advances professional / shared governance, collaborates inter & intra-professionally, delegates to others to advance care, assumes an expanded role & increased responsibility.
May lead a small team and serve as a unit / service / program nursing practice mentor & identify learning need of others.

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a valid RN license in Pennsylvania or a Compact State. Operating room experience is required, and a BSN degree is preferred.
