In-person and online CEU Courses NovaCare Rehabilitation in Bowie, MD, is seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic outpatient team. This is a great opportunity for a therapist who enjoys working with upper extremity (UE) cases and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. We are ideally looking for a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or an OT with at least 2 years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation.
Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management. High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge. Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred Additional Data Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans
Must be a graduate of an AOTA-accredited occupational therapy school with CPR certification and a valid driver's license. Preference is given to Certified Hand Therapists or those with at least two years of experience in adult rehabilitation and custom splinting.
