Valdosta, GA Join a Comprehensive Behavioral Health Program A 140-bed behavioral health hospital in Valdosta, Georgia is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join its expanding psychiatric team. The facility provides a full continuum of behavioral healthcare, including inpatient services, PHP, and IOP.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders Provide inpatient psychiatric care Collaborate with therapists, nurses, psychologists, and social workers Participate in treatment planning and family education Support continuity of care through PHP and IOP when appropriate , Position Highlights 140-bed behavioral health hospital Full continuum of behavioral healthcare Multidisciplinary team environment Competitive compensation and benefits

Qualifications

MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Eligible for Georgia medical licensure

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and eligibility for Georgia medical licensure are required.
