Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential need for an ICU Registered Nurse . These will be completely remote positions, working entirely from the Nurse’s home. The Nurse will be develop, implement and review health care plans for the dependents of our Nation’s Active Duty and eligible retirees. The Nurse will be working Monday through Friday.
Bachelors Nursing Degree At least one active state nurse license, preferably compact state licensure Three (3) years’ experience within the last five (5) years of adult critical care in a high-acuity setting or at least three (3) years, experience within the past five (5) years of adult Tele-Critical Care experience. Certifications (in addition to Basic Life Support identified in paragraph 1.5.45.6.): Advanced Life Support (ALS). Possess one of the following certifications: Critical Care Nurse - CCRN, CCRN-E or CCRN-K is required and may be obtained no more than 6 months from onboarding.TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification is required and may be obtained no more than 6 months from onboarding Job Overview Provide virtual comprehensive nursing care monitoring and consultation to on-site medical staff caring for acute and/or chronically ill adults to geriatric patient populations with complex and critical medical-surgical conditions while meeting established standards of care and delivering care within the principles of the Nursing Process. Collect, document, analyze, and interpret physiological, hemodynamic, and laboratory results important to patient treatment regimens and ongoing assessments. Report any abnormal or pertinent findings to on-site medical providers, charge nurses and supervisors as appropriate. Contribute to medical examinations of patients by observing, recognizing, recording, and reporting changes in patient conditions, symptoms, reactions to medications, and responses to treatment modalities to on-site care personnel. Virtually perform all nursing care procedures consistent with the command's nursing procedure manual and unit specific policies. Collect and analyze patient and family data for the purpose of assessment, diagnosis, and collaboration of case management between medical providers, the patient, and their family. Efficiently assemble focused assessments of physiological, psychological, and medical record data.
