Position Overview

Join a dynamic care team dedicated to improving patients’ quality of life through expert evaluation and treatment of hearing, balance, and related disorders. In this role, you’ll leverage advanced clinical skills and sound judgment to deliver timely, personalized care—potentially including hearing aid dispensing and services within a defined patient population.

You will play a key role in developing and executing patient-centered care plans, building trust with patients and their families, and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional outcomes. Your ability to communicate effectively, assess thoroughly, and respond proactively will directly impact patient experience and recovery.

We’re looking for a clinician who is committed to excellence and accountability—ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational standards while consistently delivering safe, high-quality care.

In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of others by supporting audiology assistants and aides and serving as a clinical instructor for students—helping shape the next generation of professionals.

Job Description

Education

Other: Graduate of an accredited audiology program.

Certification & licensure: AUDIO-Licensed Audiologist

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Typical experience: 2 years recent relevant experience

Skills and knowledge

Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.

Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.

Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines.

Computer and required technology proficiency/ competencies.

Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.

Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.

Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.

Pay Range is $128,814.40 to $180,336.00 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
