This is a Full-Time (72 hours per pay period) position with a 12-hour NIGHT shift schedule on variable days of the week that includes weekends and holidays.
Position will rotate work caring for L&D, Antepartum, Postpartum, and newborn patients.
Located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

We invite you to join our highly engaged team of healthcare professionals as a Registered Nurse for our Maternal Child Health team at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.
Our registered nurses provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.
Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Requires a nursing degree, CA RN license, and at least one year of recent experience in both Post-Partum and Labor and Delivery. Mandatory certifications include BLS, NRP, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring.
