Position Title: Scrub Technician II
Purpose & Scope: The OR Scrub Technician is accountable for the technical functions related to the patient's perioperative experience. The functions of this role include preparing the OR environment, and equipment, instrumentation and supply utilization. He / she is responsible to the circulating RN and works in concert with the philosophy and goals of the department.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Requires a high school diploma, three years of scrub experience, and BLS certification. Must be a Licensed Surgical Technologist by the Virginia Department of Health Professions and hold a certification in Surgical Technology.
