Freedom Behavioral Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
This position combines exceptional patient care with community engagement to help individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges receive the support they need.

Essential Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to behavioral health patients.
Complete nursing assessments and assist with developing individualized treatment plans.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, and wellness.
Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary treatment team.
Participate in patient admissions, discharge planning, and ongoing care coordination.
Assist with community outreach, educational events, and referral source engagement.
Build and maintain professional relationships with physicians, hospitals, agencies, and community partners to promote IOP services.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and all applicable state and federal requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Current Mississippi Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required. Current BLS Certification required. Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
