Provide intensive therapy and 24/7 care to children and families within residential treatment settings. Address acute behaviors and mental health diagnoses across psychiatric, subacute, and secure adolescent inpatient levels of care.

Residential treatment provides 24/7 care and intensive therapy to address mental health needs. It offers three levels of care -- Psychiatric Residential, Subacute, and Secure Adolescent Inpatient. Residential therapists get to work with acute behaviors and diagnoses in a supportive and teaching environment, similar to working at a teaching hospital.

Salary

  • unlicensed: no experience required starting at $32.85/hour (Depending on Experience)
  • Licensed: in State of Oregon starting at $35.15/hour (Depending on Experience)

About You

Completion of master's degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or another field.

Eligible for certification in the State of Oregon as a licensed professional counselor, clinical social worker, psychologist, or marriage & family therapist

Previous work experience with children and/or adolescence preferred

Experienced at the QMHA or QMHP level (including internship and practicum experience) in an outpatient mental health treatment facility, hospital, residential or day treatment setting providing counseling services to children, adolescents, and families.

Pay Equity

However, actual compensation will be determined in accordance with the Oregon Equal Pay Law and will take into account factors such as the candidate's relevant experience and education. Candidates should expect that initial offers will be made within the listed pay range and may not be at or near the top of the range.
