Serves as a member of the cardiovascular catheterization team independently functioning in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, and insertion of implantable devices, EPS and structure heart procedures with minimal supervision. Position Qualification: Two years of nursing experience required, with two years of Critical Care, or one year of full-time Cath Lab experience. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and Basic Arrythmias. Completion of 12 Lead EKG course Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, stressful environment. Required Licenses/Certifications: Graduate from an approved nursing educational program as defined by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) Holds current BLS card from the American Heart Association. Holds current ACLS card within six (6) months of employment. Current State of Florida Nursing License Preferred Certifications: RCIS - (Reg. Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), CCRN, IABP Certification. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with all levels of the organization.
