We are currently seeking a Surgical Technologist who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care and supporting surgical excellence.

Position Summary

The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in the operating room, supporting the surgical team by managing instrumentation and maintaining a sterile field throughout procedures. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Schedule Full-time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Monday – Friday, between 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Key Responsibilities Apply and maintain strict aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures. Perform scrub duties across a variety of surgical specialties with flexibility and adaptability. Prepare and position patients for surgery in accordance with procedural and safety standards. Demonstrate knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and proper care/handling. Support the surgical team with an understanding of procedures, anesthesia, and potential complications. Recognize signs of emergency situations and assist with appropriate interventions. Provide patient-centered care, considering age-related needs including sensory or cognitive limitations. Collaborate with the circulating nurse to ensure all required equipment and supplies are available. Assist with case setup, instrumentation preparation, and daily room readiness. Maintain operating room cleanliness, assist with turnover, and restock supplies as needed. Monitor inventory and identify supplies requiring reordering. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required Current BLS certification required at time of hire Certification as a Surgical Technologist required within six (6) months of employment Previous surgical or scrub experience preferred Why Join Lincoln Surgical Hospital? Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Surgical Technology program and hold a current BLS certification. Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required within six months of employment.
