About the role

The SLP is responsible for performing patient assessments and establishing individualized plans of care. They provide treatment according to physician orders and coordinate with families and healthcare teams to achieve rehabilitation goals.

How you’ll contribute

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who excels in this role

Performs patient assessment.

Establish a plan of care.

Provides care in accordance with physician’s orders and established plan of care.

Assesses the effectiveness of treatment and modifies treatment to achieve goals.

Plans for patient discharge. Communicates with patient, family, caregivers, significant other, and members of the healthcare team to achieve rehabilitation goals and promote maximum benefits of care.

What we’re looking for • Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Experience: Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred.

License: Current SLP license and ASHA certification.

Certifications: CPR certification required.

Requirements

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a current SLP license, and ASHA certification are required. CPR certification is mandatory, and experience in acute or rehab settings is preferred.
