About the role

The LPN provides direct nursing care to adults in a clinical setting, including administering medications and implementing physician orders. They are also responsible for completing medical records and coordinating with insurance for medication approvals.

Arisa Health is growing, and we are searching for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to support our clinic in Cabot, AR. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will have experience working with adults in a clinical setting to provide direct care including checking vital signs, administering medications and injections, and working with insurance to approve some of the medications for our clients. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year’s experience working in a mental health facility.

Formed by the affiliation of 4 long-standing Arkansas community mental health centers, Arisa Health leads with exceptional care that nurtures health and well-being for all. Arisa provides outpatient services, Crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.

This position is classified as full- time, non-exempt (hourly) Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

What you will do as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Provide direct nursing care.

Implement physician orders.

Administer medications, draw blood, or administer other tests or procedures as ordered.

Complete appropriate records and documentation.

What we look for in a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

  • Associate degree or advanced specialized training
  • Arkansas LPN Licensed
  • One year experience as an LPN
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Valid AR Driver's License and a good driving record.

Requirements

Candidates must be a licensed LPN in Arkansas with at least one year of experience, preferably in a mental health facility. An associate degree or specialized training and a valid driver's license are required.
