Performs basic and complex polysomnographic testing and therapeutic interventions under clinical supervision. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data to determine testing parameters in accordance with laboratory protocols.
Performs basic polysomnographic testing and associated interventions under the direct supervision of the clinical director or medical director.
May verify insurance, enters patient admission information into the HBO system.
May provide supervision of other staff.
Subject to overtime and callback as required.
Reports to the Director of the Sleep Center.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires an associate degree in polysomnography or completion of an accredited program with documented proficiency. Must hold certification from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) and BLS certification.
