Description We are seeking experienced Anesthesiologists for a 1 year contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Aurora, Colorado. This unique opportunity is open to board certified & eligible Anesthesiologists with any unrestricted U.S. medical license and offers a full time schedule, 401k, and full healthcare benefits. Position Highlights Any unrestricted U.S. state medical license accepted $250/hour Full Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits 401(k) 4x10 Schedule VA Medical Center Cardiac Anesthesia Opportunities Night & Weekend Call Rotation Multiple Openings Available Extension Opportunities Details & Duties 95% Direct Patient Care Typical Operating Room Tasks General Anesthesia Care, Pre- & Post-Op Acute pain management, airway assistance, CPR, sedation and anesthesia outside of the OR as needed Comprehensive Clinical Anesthesiology Services (cardiac surgery, orthopedic joint replacement, and major vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, plastic, ENT, urologic and ophthalmologic operations
Any Current, Unrestricted U.S. State Medical License Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) ACLS/BLS Current Certification
Advanced Certification in Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia and/or Critical Care Recent experience performing cardiac anesthesia, including CABG and cardiac valve procedures
