Under the direction of a Supervisor, the Point of Care Coord utilizes professional knowledge, skills and judgment to perform a variety of technical, clerical, physical and quality assurance functions. The Point of Card Coord works independently and serves as a resource for all of point of care testing. In addition, performs training and teaching functions.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Requires a Bachelor's degree and a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license (or related specialty license) with at least one year of clinical laboratory experience. ASCP certification and experience in teaching or training are preferred.
