Hourly Pay Range

$35.16 - $54.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

  • Position: Speech Language Pathologist II – Inpatient - Days
  • Location: Evanston Hospital
  • Full-Time – 40 hours
  • Hours:
  • M-F 8am-4:30pm; Rotating weekends
  • Required
  • Travel: Rotating locations- Skokie, Highland Park, Glenview
  • Holidays: 1 summer 1 winter holiday or weekend surrounding holiday/shared responsibility with team members

What you will do

  • Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to physician referred patients
  • Prepare and maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing
  • Participates in the clinical supervision of students

What you will need

License: Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of IL required.

Education: Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from a university program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

Certification: CPR certification required. Holds or is working towards a Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American-Speech-Hearing Association.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and a valid Illinois state license. Candidates must have CPR certification and be working towards or hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
