Provide emergency medical care across varied shift schedules and collaborate with NP/PA and specialty teams for comprehensive patient care. Maintain compliance with hospital credentialing and documentation requirements while supporting department coverage needs.
Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. Perform emergency procedures (e.g., intubation, central line insertion, suturing, sedation, etc.). Collaborate with nursing staff, NPPAs, and consulting specialists for patient management. Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in the EPIC EMR system. Participate in trauma team activations and respond to codes as required.
Candidates must have an active Ohio license and DEA, board certification, and a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience. ATLS certification is required, and CAQH attestation is necessary.
