The Respiratory Therapist assesses and treats patients with breathing disorders across adult and pediatric populations. Responsibilities include operating ventilators, conducting pulmonary diagnostics, and collaborating with the healthcare team to manage patient care.
This position will be assisting primarily our two free standings that are sister to Dr P Phillips Hospital. We are looking for a person that has done both adults and pediatrics and can be flexible regarding the locations from week to week. This person must be Registered Therapist Respiratory not a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
Assesses, treats, and cares for patients with breathing disorder. Initiates and conducts therapeutic procedures; maintains patient records; and selects, assembles, checks, and operates equipment.
Candidates must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensed by the State of Florida and hold NBRC credentials. An Associate of Science in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences and current BLS certification are required.
