The ED Technician provides advanced physical care and clinical procedures to patients under the direction of an RN and Physician. They are responsible for maintaining a clean environment and ensuring compliance with Core Measures and HCAHPS behaviors.
9am to 9pm Under the direction of the RN, the ED Technician facilitates patient care by providing advanced physical care and clinical procedures, providing patients with comfort measures and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Works as a member of the ED patient care team within the guidelines of his/her certification under the direct supervision of an ED Physician.
Education Associates Degree (Preferred) Post High School Special Training Licensure/Certification/Registration Florida Paramedic license BLS ACLS preferred Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
