Description At Heart of America Eyecare P.A. we are an ophthalmology practice servicing the surrounding communities of Shawnee Mission and Overland Park, KS as well as Belton, MO. To help us continue to achieve our goals, we are seeking a Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing dynamic team! This is a Monday - Friday, Day Shift position...

Some of the duties include, but are not limited too: Experienced in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Efficient and accurate at interviewing patients and documenting histories.
Able to ensure charts are updated and accurate.
Demonstrated working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease, and ocular medications.
Experienced with HVF, Lensometry, Keratometry, Tonometry, Visual Fields, Amslers, Muscle Fields, Pupil Exams, and Refracting.
Proficient with EMR computer programs.
Candidate must: Have some Refractions experience Experience in checking overall vision, identifying chief complaint IOP various diagnostic tests (Fundus photos, OCT, Visuals) Other skills include: Strong communication skills Strong hospitality skills and patient care focus Attention to detail Tech savvy with strong Microsoft Office knowledge Certification is a plus If you are seeking new adventures in patient care and have a passion for going above and beyond to ensure all patients are given the best patient care experience, then we want to hear from you...
