Position Overview The Medical Assistant is a key member of our clinical care team, providing direct patient care and support across medical, behavioral health, and dental services.
This role ensures patients feel welcomed, supported, and informed while maintaining accurate records and assisting providers during examinations and procedures.
The Medical Assistant also plays a vital role in patient education and clinic workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Welcome and check in patients, ensuring a friendly and supportive environment Take vital signs and perform patient intake Assist providers during examinations and procedures Update and maintain accurate medical records in the electronic health record system Educate patients on health guidelines and self-care practices Support smooth clinic operations through organization, multitasking, and communication with the healthcare team Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies Assist with other duties as assigned to ensure quality patient care Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred (or willingness to obtain) 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Empathy and patient-centered approach Positive attitude and high energy
