About the role

The ALD Fellow provides medical care to heart and vascular patients within a collaborative environment. They work with experienced professionals to gain hands-on clinical experience and develop specialized skills in cardiovascular care.

Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Advanced Lung Disease program is seeking an ALD fellow for the 2027-2028 term. The ALDFellow learns and practices medical care to heart and vascular patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. The ALD Fellow works closely with experienced medical professionals to gain hands-on clinical experience and develop specialized skills in cardiovascular care, providing the Cardiology Fellow with valuable experience and skills necessary to pursue a rewarding career in heart and vascular medicine. Minimum Qualifications

Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Board eligible or board certified in Cardiology.

Experience

successful completion of Cardiology residency program.

Licensure

  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.

  • Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a
