The Vascular Surgeon will diagnose and treat arterial and venous diseases through open and endovascular procedures. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintain accurate medical records.

Location

Lima, Ohio 45801 Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Vascular Surgeon to join our surgical team in Lima, Ohio. This position provides the opportunity to perform a broad range of open and endovascular procedures while working within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular program. The successful candidate will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating vascular disease while collaborating closely with cardiologists, hospitalists, and primary care providers to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat arterial and venous disease. Perform open and endovascular vascular procedures. Evaluate patients before and after surgery. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Educate patients regarding treatment plans and recovery. Maintain accurate medical documentation. Participate in quality improvement activities. MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery. Eligible for unrestricted Ohio medical licensure. Fellowship training in Vascular Surgery. Strong surgical and clinical skills. Commitment to patient-centered care.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be Board Certified or Eligible in Vascular Surgery. Fellowship training in Vascular Surgery and eligibility for an unrestricted Ohio medical license are required.
