We're looking for an Experienced Veterinary Assistant who is confident in the clinical setting and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. If you're someone who can keep appointments running smoothly, provide outstanding patient care, and jump in wherever needed, we'd love to meet you.

What you'll do

  • As an experienced Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting our doctors, technicians, patients, and clients by:
  • Starting appointments and obtaining accurate patient histories
  • Preparing patients for examinations and treatments
  • Collecting blood samples and running in-house laboratory tests
  • Placing IV catheters
  • Taking high-quality diagnostic radiographs
  • Assisting with patient restraint using low-stress handling techniques
  • Preparing vaccines and medications
  • Assisting with surgical and dental procedures
  • Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing nursing care
  • Filling prescriptions and educating clients on medications and discharge instructions
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment
  • Working closely with the entire medical team to provide exceptional patient care
  • What we're looking for
  • 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant
  • Comfortable working independently while also thriving as part of a team
  • Confident collecting patient histories, drawing blood, placing IV catheters, and taking radiographs
  • Experience assisting with surgery, dentistry, and laboratory diagnostics is preferred
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
