  • Schedule: Days | Full-time #nextgenhealthcare How you'll make an impact in this role Support patient care by assisting with treatments and conducting clinical assessments, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. Maintain accurate medical records by documenting patient histories, vital signs, and provider encounters to support clinical decision-making. Facilitate seamless provider workflows by transcribing orders, coordinating tests, and clearly communicating follow-up instructions. Manage clinical resources and treatment areas to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for all patients. Provide essential administrative support, from patient communication to record maintenance, to keep the department running efficiently. What minimum qualifications you'll need

  • Certification /
  • Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required: Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date OR job transfer date. Registered Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Registry of Medical Assistants also accepted. Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date OR job transfer date. Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date OR job transfer date. Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date OR job transfer date.

Education

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Note

Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education OR experience, if applicable.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, or one year of specific job experience. Must hold a valid Medical Assistant certification from an approved body (NHA, RMA, AMT, NCCT, or AAMA) and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
