About the role

Provide comprehensive psychiatric care including evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for inpatient behavioral health patients. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and ensure evidence-based care.

Bronson Behavioral is seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team on a PRN basis.

In this role, the Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including patient evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and development of individualized treatment plans.

The provider will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat a variety of behavioral health conditions while supporting positive patient outcomes.

This position plays an important role in delivering high-quality mental health services, promoting patient wellness, and ensuring compassionate, evidence-based care.

This PRN opportunity offers flexibility while making a meaningful impact within a supportive behavioral health environment focused on clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

Summary

Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility. Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures. Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations. Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications. Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner. Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.

Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required. One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred. Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate. Licenses/Certifications: Board certification in psychiatry Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working. Requirements
