About the role

Provide high-quality respiratory care and support to patients in short-term rehab and skilled nursing facilities using various modalities. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage medications, educate patients on oxygen conservation, and maintain productivity standards.

Overview Are you a Respiratory Therapist (RT) with a heart of an educator and desire to impact the lives of those in Short-Term Rehab and Skilled Nursing? If so, our Rehab Team at Mother Theresa Village in Lemont, IL, is growing its employee-owner team and seeking an additional PRN Respiratory Therapist. This position will be split between two facilities: Mother Theresa in Lemont, IL and Victorian Village in Homer Glen, IL for weekends only.

Responsibilities

As a PRN Respiratory Therapist (RT), you will work alongside the Rehab Team utilizing your knowledge and proficiency in Respiratory Therapy to provide the highest quality care and support to patients utilizing a full range of modalities. Our Respiratory Therapist bring their expertise and knowledge of disease and medication management, education and oxygen conservation techniques to every patient they interact with. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be required to maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation. More importantly, you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community you serve.

Qualifications

Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) with National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentials Hold a valid registered license. Ability to work flexible hours and weekends It’s great to have had acute care, long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience but not always required! Why work for us? Requirements

Must hold NBRC credentials as an RCP, RRT, or CRTT and possess a valid registered license. Ability to work flexible hours and weekends is required, while experience in acute or long-term care is preferred.
