A mix of 8-hour or 12-hours shifts during weekdays, with a mix of day and night shifts. This schedule would cover every third weekend as well. No-call. Schedule is set for 6 weeks at a time, consisting of 2 weeks of days, and 4 weeks of nights, with the potential for that to be split half and half.
Day shifts are from 6:30am-7pm and night shifts are from 6:30pm-7am, which includes your 30-minute break.
The Family Birth Center specializes in operations such as C-sections, hysterectomies, D&C's, cerclage placement and removal, and assisting with vaginal deliveries.
You will typically work together with another surg tech during your shift as our goal is to staff 2 on each shift every day. One surg tech acts as the scrub tech and the other surg tech 1st assists. As you gain experience, you have the opportunity to advance your skills on the unit as the first assist with the provider.

· A graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
· Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at the time employment begins.
· National certification preferred, but not required. New grads are welcome to apply with or without the NBSTSA certification.
