Description Burnett Medical Center is currently looking for a lab assistant/phlebotomist for our busy lab.
Part-time, 0.5 FTE; Days
Responsible for collection, preparation and transport of specimens for laboratory testing. Ability to multi-task, perform EKGs, release orders for lab collections, collect blood & urine samples, receive orders, perform drug screens (training required) and breath alcohol testing (training required).
HS Diploma. Completion of Phlebotomy coursework. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Or CMA with phlebotomy experience or MLT. Medical terminology preferred. Able to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other staff members. Computer skills & customer service skills needed.
