Perform initial evaluations and provide treatment for patients within an inpatient rehab team. Assist with mentoring new staff and participating in physical therapy student programming.
Will work as part of an inpatient rehab team on diagnosis specific units. Performs initial evaluation and treatment of patients; Responsible to provide patient care for inpatient as well as outpatient coverage if the need arises; Assist Lead Therapist with mentoring and or orientation of new or newly rotated staff; participate in PT student programming; other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES: Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in New York State and one year of post-licensure experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES: 1-year clinical experience; strong organizational skills; good communication skills; experience in outpatient programs; familiarity with outpatient regulations; and documentation requirements. Experience working with a team and strong ability to monitor therapy progress and create home carryover programs.
