Healthcare United is seeking a BE/BC Cardiologist to join an existing Cardiologist department that has been providing exemplary cardiac care and services for patients of Somerset County and beyond for more than 30 years.The department currently comprises three full-time cardiologists, including two non-invasive cardiology specialists and one interventional cardiology physician.
The practice also has two physician assistants, one full-time, and one part-time, with plans to add a third full-time position due to increased patient volume.
An EP (Electrophysiology) specialist sees patients one day per week and performs procedures at Somerset.
The practice operates a pacemaker clinic weekly.
Non-invasive cardiologists rotate between inpatient and outpatient services, supported by physician assistants.
Hospital services include rounding/consults, TEE procedures, stress tests, echoes, and EKGs.
Medical call is shared among the non-invasive cardiologists, with occasional locum coverage on weekends.
Physician assistants contribute to weekend rounding as well.
