The Senior IR Technologist will perform advanced interventional radiology procedures and participate in a lead or coordinator role. They are also responsible for contributing to quality assurance, radiation safety meetings, and annual performance improvement projects.
3 years Experienced with Neuro and Body IR, previous experience in similar acute care setting, experience working in both inpatient and outpatient setting.
Can work 8-hour shifts M-F, variable shift including weekends, and taking call. Parking is available to hospital when taking call. The Senior IR Technologist must Demonstrate competency actively and participate in the lead/coordinator role. Active participation in an annual performance improvement project or active participation in IR Quality Assurance/Radiation Safety meetings. Demonstrate competency and to instruct one or more of the advanced procedures.
3 years of IR experience. Previous experience in healthcare environment required (minimum 3 years). Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school. Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
